I came across the following bible verse during my daily devotion today. I think this is a reminder for us on the importance of daily study of God's word and as the guiding principle of our daily life. I have memorized it so that it would help me to be persistent in completing the TCMC Bible Study Plan.
Jos 1:8 這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上所寫的一切話。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (NIV)
John Wesley’s Bible study notes:Jos 1:8 - Out of thy mouth - That is, thou shalt constantly read it, and upon occasion discourse of it, and the sentence which shall come out of thy mouth, shall in all things be given according to this rule. Day and night - That is, diligently study, and upon all occasions consider what is God's will and thy duty. The greatness of thy place and employments shall not hinder thee from this work, because this is the only rule of all thy private actions, and publick administrations
